In catacombs roaming,

Creature of the dark decay.

Sun burns flesh from bones,

Igniting funeral pyres.

We all must wander,
I choose the catacombs;

Underground inhaling,

Dust of rotting flesh.

Piercing tranquility,

Screams of dead long past.

Lullabys send us to bed,

Before yellow sapphire rises.

Waiting for pitch coal;

Good becomes evil too easily.
