Fighting to write, hands —

Aching, mind floats without food;

Words feel too vital.

—-

Glass corners, eyes tired,

Hands cut, sharp letters,

Indigo tip sticks.

——

Head spins, stomach turns,

Pause — stomach needs sustenance;

Mind clears sickly fog.

Photography 101 – Day 3 – There Must Be Something In The Water

Water is life giving. It is baptism, renewal, and being born again. Water is sustenance, something all of us in this entire world need or we will go thirsty. There is no other drink as water that exists, that has its exact properties to be so healthy and necessary for us.

Water is also cleanliness and comes with the idea of refreshment. There is nothing like a hot shower after a hard days work, to wash the dirt away. Likewise there is nothing like a cool hydrating glass of H2O when you are so thirsty that your throat is parched and nothing else will do.

This fabric reminds me of water, the silver ball droplets, beads of water coming down out of a pool of water. It is an abstract representation of water, something more representative of water then water itself. But I still think one gets the idea of water beading down someone’s skin or down the side of your glass.
