Sunlight bursting through once starlit glass gleams;

Rectangular windows above pedway’s,

Casting warmth with afternoon’s welcome rays.

High in the Heavens sun’s ambience beams,

To and fro the people pass by chatting.

Beams grey-green with geometric slats.

A vantage obstructed yet pristine—

In midnight ink with moon’s luminous sheen.

Sunlight bursting through once starlit glass gleams.

Sunlight bursting through once starlit glass gleams,

Casual movements of the light digress,

A subtle pace alters with night’s impressions.

From dark beauty to warmth daylight streams,

High in azure sky light enfolds brightly.

We absorb warmth into our souls once blighted,

Prosperous pedway light glows so serene.

Metal supports create shadows, daydreams.

Sunlight bursting through once starlit glass gleams.

Coral-pink painted,

Pointing-toes, elegance, and freedom.

Oh light of hope at this hour dawning

Behind us leaving the dark night dreaming

Dawn swooshes in and the day has purpose.

Hope our savior never hides as a ‘con.’

The night never remains, new day leaning,

Providing the world, thrilling light concurs.

Let not night’s dark thoughts in your mind prefer,

Let hope lead your day, in the sunshine assured

Hi everyone! I hope you had a pleasant Valentine’s Day, no matter if you celebrated and went out with date or stayed home together or did nothing. It’s nice just to recognize the people you love in life any way you choose to do it! I could’ve done Valentine’s quotes but instead I chose to focus on hope and some other quotes here and there, so enjoy 🙂

——-

Mommy you let go my hand, I’m quick–

Mere seconds pass, I’m laughing freely,

I run.

—–

Mommy, I’m giggling what it is —

Feeling free, everyone looks at me,

Smiling.

—–

Down the aisles of Superstore,

You’ve lost me, can you find me now?

I’m fast.

——-

Boxes, packages to pull down,

Grinning, happy, into candy,

Sitting —

——-

Waiting for me on the shelf are —

My favourite chocolate and gummies;

Mommy?

——

Where’d you go? I think I’m lost,

I’m scrunching my face, tears begin,

Where’d you —

——-

Go? Mommy; don’t leave me here now,

Some lady grabbed my hand and —

It hurts.

——

She won’t let go, dragging me off,

Stranger danger; no one helps me,

Let Go!

*****

It’s okay now, Mommy is here

Holding you close, grabbing your hand;

She runs.

——

Scared I’ll turn her in and I should,

Who tries to kidnap a child in —

Daylight? —

——–

At all? Cannot trust, stay near me,

Now you know why and you’re safe,

From harm.

—–

Mommy will never let you go,

Her precious boy, her sweet sunshine,

Is hers.

Day 9 – NaPoWriMo- Visual Poetry – ” At This Moment”

A note: The prompt is to do visual poetry such as in a shape or some sort of form. I had this before as a prompt in the Writing 201 Poetry course and I hate it! If there was a way I could do it on here perhaps I wouldn’t hate it as much. But there isn’t a way so and I don’t have time to color you a poem today on paper and take a picture. So the way I am going to be visual is with my words.

“At this Moment”

The blowing of the tall green grass gasping and growing in the air as it glows in the sunshine apt for yellow rays of bright burning rays and crystal white puffs of clouds trailing beyond the horizon and floating in blueness and newness of the cool breathtaking  magnetic sky.

I am waiting in my living room dark red furniture with lines of yellow and brown cushions with a lighter brown, reddish brown, orangey red, and maroon brown; sitting on the couch it’s cushy and am writing.

The computer hums softly with the electronic stillness of air going through technology in a soft silent and repeating noise.

I am waiting for the guise of flowers now dying in sick green water, white perfect roses withered and bright almost neon green leaves dying; all that’s living is the proud white lily as she sticks her triumphant petals in the air and inner orange brightness shines as the sun.

She stinks but not one would kill her for her smell she is only one and a vision in the lines and pale pastel brown paint that covers this house.

And I zoom back out to the sunshine knowing I’ll be travelling in it and I am warmed by the air that blows my bright blond head back in anticipation, that automation of the trees and their leaves as they are all pine and the coniferous trees have yet to burst into bloom.

I sit and I wonder of the clouds and the cars moving slowly past the this deserted street and I am in awe of a beautiful day.

Poetry: Firelight and Sunshine

Firelight and Sunshine

Words are as the fireflies dancing in the light.
They feed my soul and learn me, but I wonder if you like
The shimmering of fire in the dimming sky, as night takes on it’s darkness and daylight breathes it’s final spiral.
I wonder if you like to say so much at all because silence always greets me when we’re across the distance
When you are there, and I am here, separation anxiety appeares and grasps me round my bloodied heart.
Squeezes me, my heart hurts too much in this starry light to beat.
I see in you a future, I see in you the light, I see in you a story – you and me each night
But time is quick to wale on me to beat me into anger
There is always something wrong with us, when everything’s so right
Communication I don’t want to force it but it’s become a fight I fear. I lose, you always win.
Silent as those words that never cross your lips.
Don’t you want to know me and understand me better.
I’m just trying to see you in the fierce fire light.
You flame and blaze a clear heart beat.
But why are you so silent, that Im afraid you’ll disappear.
Because in the reality of darkness your the shadow of man making tracks to me – then running away as fast as feet will fly.
And I’m all into fireflies and words that make night glow
I see a sensuality in the right words whispered
I get to know someone by the actions that they take. That they meet their word with actions and do not simply disappear.
Make time for me the clock strikes faster, the hands will crack if they go any quicker
Beware my footsteps light as air, creeping through the lighted wood far far away…
You don’t care anymore or are you just unaware?
And I don’t know if you can love me sufficiently enough
My I love you’s go unmet with the emptiness of distance and days.
Connection always fueled by a little less passion a little more torment from you and I will scream, a careful porcelain shattered
Unless you can learn to use your words, to speak, to share, to state
We will finally break, shards of sunlight splintered.
