1. Words are the challenge, the desire.

2. What do we speak; our hearts.

3. Passion without love it only fizzles

4. Wish you looked at my face.

5. Dreaming rhymes but cannot find solace.

6. Dark nights hold the sad hostage.

7. Wishing on stars; they’ve no consciousness.

8. Brilliant is moonlight but sunlight’s forgiving.

9. Words of affection keep out coldness. 

10. Simple answers are usually the best.

11. Complicated scenarios can lose our attention.

12. Digging deep might we find strength.

13. Perhaps, the ignorent lie to themselves. 

14. Maybe we don’t see satisfaction last.

15. If we’re not unsatisfied; no contentment. 

16. Luring fishes, live and let live. 

17. You might find darkness resides everywhere. 

18. Light can be revealing and blinding.

19. Nerves of steel shatter as Crystal. 

20. Broken shards cut skin deep; scar.

21. Of scars be unashamed; you lived. 

22. Energy is the ilk of legends.

23. Wonder how stars can shimmer diamonds.

24. Hearts are windshields; chipped they crack.

25. Love heals but deception can kill.

Six Word Stories December 19, 2015.


1. T’was I; I ate your chocolate. 

2. Christmas movies on TV; B grade. 

3. Christmas decorations all out; Christmas atmosphere.

4. Look there’s Mistletoe, better remove it

5. He looked handsome; in certain light.

6. His personality was smooth, as butter.

7. She liked to do her makeup.

8. She liked to be flawlessly prepared.

9. The moon hung in the sky. 

10. I will rise above it all.

11. Nobody is going to stop me.

12. I skipped a lot of numbers.

13. When I wrote this, I forgot. 

14. As many takes as is required.

15. The perfect photograph is usually flawed.

16. Filters are wonderful photo tools used.

17. What do you actually look like?

18. How should I know, no reflection.

19. Only the undead have no reflection. 

20. The eclipse was amazing; I’m blind. 

21. A blood moon; blood ancestors spilled.

22. The moon looks red; people suspicious.

23. Choirs are singing carols and blending.

24. I use to see Handle’s Messiah. 

25. Oh Holy Night; a beautiful carol.

1. I tried hard; I still failed.

2. Shoot the puck; might go in.

3. Don’t be a quitter; try again.

4. He gave me roses; I cried.

5. The roses were black; for death.

6. Family are your people, you’re safe.

7. Family gives much security and love.

8. We learn to love through parents.

9. My dog is small, huddling sleeping.

10. My guy snuggles close; I’m safe.

11. Money is nice and spent fast.

12. I like to shop; I like giving.

13. Christmas reminds us of Jesus’ birth.

14. The expensive things, call to me.

15. Many people love luxury, that’s cheap.

16. And luxury doesn’t mean it’s quality.

17. Fashion goes out; older Fashion restyled.

18. What’s new today, is old tomorrow.

19. I like to sleep, dream peacefully.

20. My sleeping is likely disturbed again.

21. I laugh sometimes, no one hears.

22. Laughter is the sound of jingle bells.

23. Chocolate disappears on your tongue slowly.

24. Dark chocolate is for pleasure; sweet.

25. I adore chocolate cake freshly baked.

1. Christmas has become gaudy; sparkles glitter. 

2. Stress turns on the nervous system. 

3. Running on endorphins only lasts awhile.

4. I miss dogs; Santa please provide. 

5. Dogs are bestfriends, die before you.

6 Cancer consumes my friend; tumours shrinking.

7. The beast never saw; beauty’s beastiness.

8. I began Christmas shopping; already overwhelmed. 

9. Memories last awhile, music brings songs. 

10. Smell triggers memory; sometimes horrid scents.

11. The backyard is dark; cats play.

12. There is a questioning, in silence.

13. We look at each other, silently.

14. The best words come from silence.

15. Sleep disturbed by so many words.

16. Poetry is gut wrenching; it hurts.

17. Pain is apart of everything; feel.

18. If you hurt, your not dead.

19. Hiking hills takes perseverence; I’ve none.

20. If magic is real; believe truth. 

21. Sickness can stop life; turn pages.

22. Lovely leather books made hand bound.

23. Air is shallow here, water inhaled. 

24. The cost of freedom is war.

25. Unnamed soldier; death makes us nameless.

  5. We try to move on — lost.

  8. If you’re you; you are perfect.
  9. Better show then tell too much.
  10. Power is woman in graceful form.
  11. She had many dreams, buried within.
  12. Dogs sleep beside you, then ontop.
  13. The world is full of lies — truth.
  14. Beyond the wardrobe, lies more coats.
