Alone as daylight touches the morning sky, Alice escapes to her Wonderland — a private dance studio in the darkness; a dank car-pass off a dust-filled road where cars no longer drive. Now, it’s the place that stains her silken shoes with grime, and its musty interior makes her pulse skip and flutter. Alice’s limbs are fluid and precise as her body contorts, and her timing and rhythm are in-sync as the white-rabbit claps his paws; Alice bows.

  1. The Alice match is great to see and use. Under the highway, falling through the looking glass. Works well! But where she is, dancing in the dust and grime, has a lonely and even an ominous aspect. You share a great deal with what is meant to be a little. Hope you’ve had a good week, Amanda, and you’ve a good weekend to look forward to.

    1. Thanks Christopher, you too. I’ll be editing and maybe some shopping, nothing too much. A walk in the river valley to see all the dogs on the offleash too 😉 Take care.

I think it’s that this Alice can make a Wonderland out of deplorable conditions. This place is hers, so it matters.
