She said she’d learned, it was okay to cry, though she hurt,

More than rain commingled on her window, love and pain

Two sides of a coin, commingled; both were needed.

That’s why she made a friend of pain, she’d learned, it’s worth.

Built world surrounding misery, love and pain,

Realized that hurricanes commingled her feelings.

She would always need both love and pain to succeed,

Hurricanes made flowers grow, she learned, don’t hide — feel.

Sometimes few words are enough to make temporary escape from quotidian life. Your post is the perfect example of this. Thank you for songs in November Notes. I will definitely listen to those tracks. 🙂

Thank so much. They were chosen by A reading Writer and her friend, some of them I love and others not so much. But we all have our tastes in music 🙂

Thank you I’m happy you liked Pain Told Love. I love Sara Bareillas. I wish the list included one more of her songs! My favourite if hers right now has been “Used To Be Mine.” It’s a sad song but powerful!

That song has been my all time favourite! It’s rare to come across the song with powerful lyrics and equally powerful voice. Glad to come across a Sara Bareilles fan. 🙂
