Thanks to Sonya of Only 100 Words for this week’s photo prompt:

Orange ball of string you’re,

Disgusting, so blinding,

Why construction signs are warnings.

An in colour in Fall,

There’s a reason,

I hate your putrid presence.

Ball of string I’m tossing —

You, you’re a —

Loose end — J’adore calmer bleu.

I like the play on words at the end, where you call the ball of string ‘a loose end’ 🙂

Thanks Melinda. Yeah, I kind of felt, it was something to get rid of. I was interesting though, Bikergurl used the loose ends as well and she wrote about them being freedom. Something which never occurred to me lol.

Witty, acerbic lines. The feelings of dissatisfaction come through sharply. Well done, Mandi!

I love the loose end, but didn’t see the putridness in the color you did….but you articulated it with such flair, how can I not love the lines? 🙂

Hehe. For me I’m not a orange person, I really don’t like the colour. Although, on some people it looks just great (my brother for instance with darker skin tone and brown hair). I thought it interesting how I portrayed loose ends in a totally opposite way then you. Happy you liked 🙂
