Poem: Triolet – ” Lughai: the many shades of Blue ” #wordhighjuly #amwriting #poetry

——-

Blues, shades, tones, tints, expressions had.

Lughai the colour, or feeling,

How it is when you’re depressed, sad.

Blues, shades, tones, tints, expressions had.

But Lughai is also peace glad.

Tranquility, hope which truth sees.

Blues, shades, tones, tints, expressions had.

Lughai the colour, or feeling.

——

Room of serenity, heart peace.

Feeling safe, forever at rest.

Lughai I feel, time it ceases.

Room of serenity, heart peace.

Place in mind, trouble releases.

Nothing bothersome, no life pests.

Room of serenity, heart peace.

Feeling safe, forever at rest.

—–

Painting canvasses all blue,

Choose your shade, change the Lughai.

Dreams through acrylic, all see-through.

Painting canvasses all blue.

Each tint of white lightens you.

Lost in the paint, a world so fey.

Painting canvasses all blue,

Choose your shade, change the Lughai.

I have never heard of a triolet before but now I see how they are done. You did this beautifully.

Thanks Deb. I go to http://www.shadowpoetry.com and like to try out new forms of poetry. Some I like and use to write a lot. Other’s I try once or twice, and I find them too confining. Happy You liked this one though 🙂

Thank you very much. I’m happy you like my writing. The images for the most part, I just look up on google. I tend to like black and white images for some reason. You just save the image and make sure you give credit to the website, not the entire web address, just the first part 🙂

A cosmopolitan title. The verse and the image are a celebration of color and meaning. Even the parts of blue–of bughaw–that are sad. A firm hand writes here, Mandi. Winning work!
