Thanks to The Daily Post for the word prompt conceal.

 I’m noir, night’s shadow.

Hidden within the darkness,

Concealed from your eyes

—–

I’m blue as the sky,

Blending in, invisible.

Chameleon.

——

I’m right next to you,

Each day, same time, in plane sight.

Never see, do you?

  1. Changing hues not to be seen but to end up unseen. And a sad aspect, here, it is. For me, the second stanza is especially effective in irony. Blue is usually for calm, though that’s not what it means here. Thanks, Mandi!
